About The Position

Virtua Medical Group (VMG) is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible, Fellowship-Trained Advanced Heart Failure Cardiologist to play a pivotal role in our expanding heart failure program. This is a 100% Advanced Heart Failure position designed for a passionate specialist excited to grow within a robust, integrated health system. Virtua Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital is proud to be a DNV-accredited Ventricular Assist Device (VAD) facility. Our newly launched Advanced Heart Failure Center in Camden expands access to both surgical and outpatient care for South Jersey residents. With nine dedicated Heart Failure centers throughout Cherry Hill, Ventnor City, Hammonton, Galloway, Burlington, Moorestown, Voorhees, Sewell, and Camden, we offer wide-reaching, accessible care across Burlington, Camden, Gloucester, and Atlantic counties. Our team-based, guideline-driven model brings together cardiologists, advanced practice providers, pharmacists, dietitians, care managers, rehab specialists, palliative care experts, and peer support groups like WomenHeart. This multidisciplinary approach ensures personalized, evidence-based care, including remote monitoring and collaborative LVAD management. Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional care to patients and families during life’s most challenging moments.
  • Play a pivotal role in our expanding heart failure program.
  • Deliver comprehensive, state-of-the-art care across the continuum—from inpatient LVAD implantation to outpatient management, cardiac rehab, home-based care, and community support.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including cardiologists, advanced practice providers, pharmacists, dietitians, care managers, rehab specialists, and palliative care experts.
  • Ensure personalized, evidence-based care, including remote monitoring and collaborative LVAD management.
