About The Position

BayCare Medical Group is seeking an Advanced Endoscopist to join a growing and well-established team of four Gastroenterologists based at St. Joseph's Hospital in Tampa, Florida. This is an exciting opportunity to expand and enhance GI services, with a particular focus on advancing endoscopic capabilities, including Endoscopic Ultrasound. The ideal candidate will play a key role in further developing advanced procedural offerings while collaborating in a collegial, patient-centered environment. Procedures and inpatient consults are performed at St. Joseph's Main Hospital, a 550-bed Level 2 Trauma Center. There is close collaboration with Hepatobiliary Surgery, Colorectal Surgery, and Interventional Radiology. The role offers excellent system support and a referral base, ensuring the incoming physician will gain an established patient base quickly. This role is suitable for recent graduates or seasoned Gastroenterologists.

Requirements

Completion of an accredited Advanced Gastroenterology Fellowship.
Board eligibility/board certification by The American Board of Internal Medicine, Gastroenterology.
Ability to obtain a Florida Medical license.

Responsibilities
