About The Position

The position provides Advanced Endoscopy and General GI services in ambulatory clinics, including inpatient call and coverage and endoscopy time. The physician participates in clinical teaching for medical students, residents, and fellows in clinics, the endoscopy center, and hospital ward settings. The role includes completing clinical obligations such as chart documentation and patient follow-up, as well as teaching, research, service, academic advising, and related administrative activities. The position may represent the university, college or school, or department and is responsible to a chair or other appropriate higher-level State university administrator.

Requirements

Medical degree from an accredited institution or the highest degree appropriate in the field.
Participates in obtaining additional clinical training by providing direct medical care to patients in a hospital or medical clinic setting.

Nice To Haves

Must hold or be eligible for a full, unrestricted Florida Medical License or foreign equivalent.
Must obtain and maintain a full unrestricted Florida Medical License, maintain credentials in the USF Health faculty practice plan, and be a medical staff member in good standing at assigned hospitals.
