In this role, you will have an opportunity to assist in all types of GI and Pulmonary procedures. Remote procedures are also performed throughout the facility. This is a hands-on, fast paced, collaborative environment! This is a full-time day shift position working 4-10's. Hours are typically 6:30AM - 5PM. This position requires 6-8 call shifts per month including nights and weekends. Enjoy a flat rate of $5/hr for call, $1/hour weekend shift differential and an 18% night shift differential, when applicable. POSITION SUMMARY This position assists with prescribed endoscopic procedures in accordance with department/facility policies, procedures, and protocols. The incumbent is responsible for the care, handling, and processing of endoscopy procedural equipment and turnover of the procedure rooms. This role assists and shows a high level of proficiency with general GI cases, advanced GI cases and pulmonary cases. This position ensures optimal care/treatment to all patient population. The incumbent also participates in the training and orientation of onboarding new Endoscopy Technicians and students, as assigned.
