Anderson County EMS provides 911 emergency response and convalescent transport for more than 80,000 residents across 345 square miles, responding to over 20,000 calls annually. As an Advanced EMT (AEMT), you will practice to the full scope authorized by your license, our protocols, and medical direction. This role offers opportunities to assess patients, make clinical decisions, and perform AEMT interventions as an active member of the care team. We utilize modern equipment and progressive clinical protocols, including a pilot project allowing AEMTs to administer Versed for seizures.
