About The Position

As an Advanced Embedded Software Engineer in the Space and Intelligence Systems business, you’ll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for design, development, and test of specialized solutions that are launched into space and considered by our customers to be national assets. This role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering, Technology or Mathematics field, and 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 3 years of job-related experience. Agile experience is preferred. Candidates must be able to obtain a TS/SCI clearance within a reasonable amount of time from date of hire, and U.S. citizenship is required due to the nature of the work. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering, Technology or Mathematics field.
  • 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 3 years of job-related experience.
  • Ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance within a reasonable amount of time from date of hire.
  • U.S. citizenship is required.
  • Proficiency in languages such as C++, C, Python.
  • Knowledge of designing networked applications, microservices architecture, and distributed systems.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Kubernetes, Docker).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices.
  • Experience with authentication, authorization, and security best practices.
  • Knowledge of message queuing systems and event-driven architectures.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
  • Proficient with version control systems such as Git/Gitlab.
  • Thrive in a collaborative, security-conscious environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Agile experience preferred.
  • Department of Defense TS/SCI security clearance is preferred at time of hire.
