About The Position

The primary role of Database Management function is to design, implement and maintain Oracle Database Server, SQL server technologies and E-Business Suite Technologies environments. Key deliverables include providing support to application DBA tasks such as application cloning, patching and database migration. Monitoring all Oracle production database backups globally. Troubleshooting technical Oracle Applications and database issues.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of related experience.
- Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors.
- Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.

Responsibilities
- Plan computerized databases, including base definition, structure, documentation, performance, operational guidelines and protection.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of data in master files and various support tools (such as base dictionaries).
- Establish and maintain security and integrity controls.
- Formulate and monitor policies.
- Propose and implement enhancements that will improve the performance and reliability of the system.
- Perform routine professional-based activities (early in career).
- Contribute to and manage projects (mid-career).
- Provide advice/direction in primary areas of expertise (specialist and expert).
- Leverage professional expertise and relationships to contribute to strategy and drive business results (principal).
- Network with senior internal and external personnel in own area of expertise.
- Lead the work of project teams.
- Formally train junior staff.
