About The Position

The primary role of Database Management function is to design, implement and maintain Oracle Database Server, SQL server technologies and E-Business Suite Technologies environments. Key deliverables include providing support to application DBA tasks such as application cloning, patching and database migration. Monitoring all Oracle production database backups globally. Troubleshooting technical Oracle Applications and database issues. The primary objective of Database Administration (DM) specialization within Database Management Job Family is to plan computerized databases, including base definition, structure, documentation, performance, operational guidelines and protection. Key responsibilities include ensuring accuracy and completeness of data in master files and various support tools (such as base dictionaries), establishing and maintaining security and integrity controls, formulating and monitoring policies, and proposing and implementing enhancements that will improve the performance and reliability of the system.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum of 5 years of related experience
- Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors
- Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions
