About The Position
Coordinates surgical posting and operative care for advanced surgery physician practices (Orthopedics, Advanced GI, Neurosurgery, Obstetrics, Bariatric, Reconstruction and Plastic Surgery, or Neuro-interventional service lines), physician relations, pre-operative chart/pre-admission testing process, post-operative care coordination, patient operative process education, and monitoring the surgery schedule for multiple physicians.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Three years of clinical setting experience
- Experience in a surgical clinic setting preferred
Responsibilities
- Coordinates surgical posting and operative care for advanced surgery physician practices
- Manages physician relations
- Oversees the pre-operative chart/pre-admission testing process
- Coordinates post-operative care
- Educates patients on the operative process
- Monitors the surgery schedule for multiple physicians
