About The Position
Associated Ambulance is seeking expressions of interest for a Permanent Full-Time Advanced Care Paramedic (ACP) to be based out of their Westlock station. The successful applicant will work a 12-hour schedule consisting of four days on followed by four days off. This role emphasizes quality, patient safety, and employee safety, with a commitment to continuous improvement expected from all employees. Applicants must disclose any commitments that could affect their ability to fulfill the full-time requirements of the position.
Requirements
- Valid ACP practice permit that meets the requirements for EMS practice in Alberta.
- Current, valid Alberta Class IV driver’s license.
- Up to date with all mandatory and required training, including MCP and PDIC.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality emergency medical services and inter-facility patient transport.
- Ensure patient care, safety, and employee safety.
- Commit to continuous improvement.
