About The Position

Hartford HealthCare Heart & Vascular Institute is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible cardiologist with advanced training in echocardiography and additional expertise in cardiac MRI, CT, and/or nuclear cardiology. The position offers an opportunity to practice at a quaternary care center within a large health system, with immediate patient volume and a strong referral network. The cardiologist will participate in fellow education and inpatient care and collaborate with colleagues in a collegial environment. The organization also offers access to physician leadership development and educational simulation resources. This is a salaried position; compensation depends on qualifications, location, internal equity, and other factors.

Requirements

• Board-certified or board-eligible in cardiology.
• COCATS Level III training in one or more imaging modalities; the external qualifications specify Level III training in echocardiography.

Nice To Haves

• Additional expertise in cardiac MRI, CT, and/or nuclear cardiology.
