About The Position

Riverside Community Care is seeking an Advance Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) for their Newton Outpatient Program. This role involves providing direct psychiatric care, including comprehensive clinical evaluation and medication management, to a caseload of child & adult or adult-only patients. The APRN will also serve as a trusted consultant for colleagues, individuals, and families, and act as a medical liaison with staff, family members, and community programs under the guidance of the Regional Medical Director. This is a dynamic role with medical responsibilities that vary by program and population.

Requirements

Master’s in Nursing with Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) certification.
One or more years in a psychiatric clinical setting, managing complex populations preferred.
Experience providing both in person and telehealth services preferred.
Active DEA license and all qualifications required to maintain an active nursing license, including continuing education and ethical standards.
Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
Intermediate computer fluency, including Microsoft Office
