About The Position

Functions independently as an APP (PA or FNP) staffing Assigned Clinic, performing comprehensive histories, relevant physical exams, and diagnosis/treatment of patients.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited PA program that is AMA approved or a graduate of an accredited FNP program.
• Licensed by the North Carolina Board of Medical Examiners or the NC Board of Nursing.
• Must meet the credential requirements of Columbus Regional Healthcare active staff and remain in good standing as an active staff member, as applicable.
• Maintains current BLS & ACLS certification. (ACLS certification within 180 days post hire)

Nice To Haves

• Two years clinical experience preferred.
• Experience in practicing in an independent setting preferred.
• Able to communicate with patients, family and staff in a professional, friendly manner.
• Proven working relationship with physicians and surgeons.
• Experience with patient/staff education.
• Strong detail-orientation and follow-up capacity.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask.
• Demonstrated success in relationship building.
• Ability to keep team focused on goals/timelines.
• Customer service focused.
• Strong data analysis skills that require interpretation of clinical results to develop program improvement projects.
• Experience in achieving results and working with process management.
