Requirements

  • Requires registration as a Registered Nurse and advanced training and experience acquired through a Nurse Practitioner program in relevant specialty area or Physician Assistant degree with Pass/Completion of the National Commission on Certification of Physical Assistants (NCCPA) Boards and three years of related experience.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily operations and schedule, train and prepare records for assigned staff and contracted personnel
  • Monitor patient care and escalate improvement need across clinical practices to Public Health management.
  • Perform diagnostic, health assessment, and patient care management duties.
  • Review patient charts and follow up.
  • Provide education to patients and staff.
  • Recommend policies and procedures improvements for health center initiatives and facility compliance.
  • Work under the direction and consultation of a physician.
  • Perform other duties as required or assigned.
