Nationally certified Advanced Practice Provider who provides primary and/or specialty care in a variety of healthcare settings. Functions in collaboration with the health care team in accordance with certification and licensure. Practice emphasizes health promotion, disease prevention and the diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic health problems. Responsible for dissemination of knowledge through instructing, leading and developing educational programs. The provider will autonomously manage a broad spectrum of patients, including those with general nephrology conditions, kidney transplants, and those receiving hemodialysis. Responsibilities include comprehensive review of medical records—such as laboratory results, imaging, medications, and physical examinations—and the ordering of appropriate medications, diagnostic tests, and imaging studies. The provider will deliver patient and family education, coordinate follow-up care, and ensure accurate and timely completion of outpatient documentation and billing. A minimum of two years of clinical experience as an advanced practice provider is needed and pediatric Nephrology experience preferred, but not required. This role will involve seeing patients at the main campus as well as regional locations.
