The APP will work in an ambulatory and hospital setting, starting each day by rounding on the inpatient unit with a multidisciplinary team and transitioning to the outpatient clinic in the afternoon. Key responsibilities include performing bone marrow biopsies, ordering and interpreting labs and diagnostic tests, and applying advanced clinical expertise to support medical management and care planning. The role involves four 10-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 5:00 PM) with an on-call rotation shared among APPs to ensure continuity of care, approximately 1 in 8 weekends. This position is located at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, IL, a nationally recognized academic and research hospital and part of Advocate Health, one of the largest nonprofit integrated health systems in the U.S. It offers comprehensive cancer care, advanced surgical services, and a wide range of specialties, and is designated as a Level I Trauma Center, Comprehensive Stroke Center, and Perinatal III facility.
