About The Position

Join Sentara Medical Group as an Advanced Practice Provider supporting our Electrophysiology Cardiology service line. This position offers the opportunity to work alongside a highly skilled, collaborative team of physicians and APPs while providing high quality care to adult EP patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings. This is a surgical and procedural focused role with meaningful autonomy and a strong support structure.

Requirements

• Cardiology Provider Specialty
• Experience in Electrophysiology focused care
• Ability to perform cardioversions and loop implants independently
• Ability to perform access and closure independently
• Ability to provide first assist in ablations

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a surgical and procedural focused role

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality care to adult EP patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Perform first assist responsibilities in procedures.
• Perform cardioversions and loop implants independently.
• Perform first assist in ablations.
• Perform access and closure independently.
• Weekend rounding required every fifth weekend.
• Phone based call coverage every third week.
