As the Adult Services Technician, you will: assist the Adult Services Supervisor and Adult Services Librarians in developing educational displays, age-appropriate programming based on library best practices, and works the reference and circulation service desks as needed. Under the general supervision of the Adult Services Supervisor, the Adult Services Technician follows guidelines, policies, procedures, and expectations.
Requirements
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen, criminal background investigation and MVR check.
- Must possess valid class C driver’s license.

Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s degree in library science or related field.
- Two years of experience working in Adult Services in a public library setting is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Adult Services Supervisor and Adult Services Librarians in developing educational displays.
- Assist in developing age-appropriate programming based on library best practices.
- Work the reference and circulation service desks as needed.
- Follow guidelines, policies, procedures, and expectations under the general supervision of the Adult Services Supervisor.
