About The Position

The Adult Residential Support Professional provides daily support, supervision, and encouragement to residents in programs serving people with addictions, restorative justice, mental health residential, and crisis needs. The role helps create a safe, respectful, recovery-focused environment and supports residents in reaching treatment and recovery goals and developing life skills and independence. The position also includes meal planning, grocery shopping, and supervising clients in the kitchen, along with household tasks and transportation support. This is a full-time position in Neillsville, Wisconsin, scheduled Monday through Friday from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, for 40 hours per week. The posting also describes a consistent schedule with every other weekend off.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and an insurable driving record.

Nice To Haves

Experience in human services, behavioral health, social services, or a related field.

Responsibilities

Support, interact with, and monitor residents while serving as a positive role model.
Document resident observations and maintain required records.
Assist with medication monitoring and administration according to program guidelines.
Respond appropriately to emergencies and crisis situations.
Support residents in achieving treatment and recovery goals.
Perform household duties, including cleaning, laundry, and organizing supplies.
Assist with transportation to appointments, meetings, and community activities.
Help residents develop life skills and complete daily living tasks.
Plan meals, shop for groceries, and supervise clients in the kitchen.
Participate in staff meetings and required training.
