We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Adult Residential Support Professional to join our team. LSS Neillsville Center is a comprehensive Substance Use Disorder treatment program for adult men, providing trauma-informed residential services in a supportive, recovery-focused environment. This is a full-time, benefits-eligible, 2nd shift position offering the opportunity to be part of a collaborative team dedicated to empowering individuals to achieve sustainable recovery.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Willingness to complete DHS 83 training after hire.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in human services, behavioral health, healthcare, or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to establish professional boundaries while demonstrating empathy and compassion.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm in challenging situations.

Responsibilities

  • Building positive, supportive relationships with residents.
  • Monitoring resident safety and well-being.
  • Assisting with daily living activities, housekeeping, and meal preparation.
  • Administering and monitoring medications according to program guidelines.
  • Documenting resident progress and maintaining accurate records.
  • Responding calmly and effectively during emergencies or crisis situations.
  • Encouraging residents to meet their treatment goals and develop independent living skills.
  • Facilitating educational groups and life-skills activities.
  • Transporting residents to appointments and community activities.
  • Maintaining confidentiality while providing trauma-informed, person-centered care.
  • Working collaboratively with a dedicated interdisciplinary team.
