About The Position

Lutheran Social Services is seeking an Adult Residential Support Professional - Transportation Specialist to provide safe transportation and day-to-day support to individuals in their residential programs. This role involves assisting residents with appointments, community activities, and daily schedules, as well as maintaining program vehicles and performing facility support duties. Requirements

• Valid driver's license and a safe driving record
• Meet LSS driving and auto insurance requirements
• Demonstrate compassion, patience, and professionalism
• Communicate effectively with people from diverse backgrounds and experiences
• Be dependable, organized, and able to work independently
• Enjoy working as part of a collaborative team
• Employment is contingent upon successfully completing all required background checks, caregiver checks, medical screenings, motor vehicle record reviews, and other program-specific requirements.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport residents to appointments, meetings, treatment services, and community activities
• Assist residents with accessing program services and maintaining daily schedules
• Help maintain program vehicles, including coordinating routine maintenance, cleaning, and inspections
• Perform housekeeping and facility support duties as needed
• Organize and distribute clothing, bedding, and other supplies
• Assist individuals with limited mobility, including those who use wheelchairs
• Promote a safe, respectful, and supportive environment for all residents
• Support the agency's mission, values, and commitment to person-centered care
