About The Position

Southern Orthopaedic Surgeons (SOS) in Montgomery, Alabama, is actively seeking a Fellowship-Trained Orthopaedic Adult Reconstruction Surgeon to join their well-established and respected practice. This opportunity is positioned for continued growth due to strong market demand, established referral networks, and dedicated practice support. It offers access to modern facilities and a clear path to partnership. The group has been serving the region for over 40 years. The position involves a mix of clinic and OR duties, with OR cases typically running from 6:45 AM to 3:30 PM. It features a Monday-Friday schedule with no weekend clinic, utilizes ModMed EMR, and call is shared equally among physicians. Ancillary support includes onsite and nearby imaging, physical therapy, and an orthopaedic urgent care. There will be modest general ortho responsibilities as the practice is built.

Requirements

• BC/BE in Orthopedic Surgery
• Fellowship training in Orthopedic Adult Reconstruction Surgery
• Excellent communication skills
• Patient focused, collaborative, team player
• Eligible for or holding a valid Alabama medical license.

Responsibilities

• Mix of clinic and OR
• OR cases typically 6:45 AM – 3:30 PM
• Monday–Friday schedule; no weekend clinic
• Call shared equally among physicians
• Modest general ortho responsibilities as you build your practice
