Requirements
- Physician license (MD/DO) in the state of practice
- Board Certified or Board Certified Eligible in Psychiatry
- Current active DEA licensure/prescriptive authority or ability to obtain post-hire, per state regulations
Responsibilities
- Work with Primary Care providers with opportunities for close collaboration and consultation while providing longitudinal treatment
- Provide medication management in a team-based setting, alongside master’s and doctoral-level therapists, care facilitators, and support staff
- Opportunities to supervise Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners and junior psychiatrists if desired
- After hours call by phone only, about 2-4 weeks per year
