About The Position
A hospital-affiliated behavioral health program in southern New York is seeking an Adult Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to support a community-based outreach team. The provider will deliver psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and in-person visits for an assigned caseload. Responsibilities include coordinating care across multidisciplinary services and maintaining consistent weekday scheduling; this role offers a competitive compensation package.
Requirements
- Experience providing psychiatric care in community, ACT, or acute settings
- Experience managing adult psychiatric caseloads with outreach or home-visit components
- Board Certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
- Active, unrestricted DEA registration
- Eligibility for Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance participation
- Active New York State NP license or eligibility
