This position is responsible for providing ongoing case management and community supervision of offenders participating in the Fairbanks Therapeutic Courts. The role involves performing initial intake and risk assessments, meeting regularly with participants to monitor compliance with court-ordered requirements, conducting field visits, curfew checks, and alcohol/drug screenings. The officer will also participate in court hearings, prepare written reports, and serve as a liaison between participants and justice system professionals, as well as local social service agencies. A key aspect of the role is ensuring the Therapeutic Courts' adherence to National Drug Court Institute (NDCI) standards. Travel to other locations within the state of Alaska and virtual coverage may be required.
