About The Position

District Medical Group (DMG) is seeking an Adult Nurse Practitioner to provide medical care within the DMG Division of Psychiatry at the Valleywise Behavioral & Mental Health Center in Mesa, Arizona. The role involves caring for patients with serious mental illness and practicing primary care in collaboration with behavioral health teams. Medical consultation will be provided by the Internal Medicine Attending staff within DMG.

Requirements

• Arizona NP license
• Strong interest in caring for patients with serious mental illness
• Skills and desire to practice primary care
• Outstanding interpersonal skills
• Strong work ethic

Nice To Haves

• Previous clinical experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide medical care in the DMG Division of Psychiatry.
• Care for patients with serious mental illness.
• Practice primary care in collaboration with behavioral health teams.
• Receive medical consultation from Internal Medicine Attending staff.
