Now, we're looking for a bold, passionate Physician Assistant (PA) or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN – Family Nurse Practitioner) to join our Sunrise, FL team. Requirements

  • Active Florida license as one of the following: Physician Assistant (PA-C) – licensed through the Florida Board of Medicine OR Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN – FNP) – licensed through the Florida Board of Nursing
  • Master’s degree from an accredited PA or NP program
  • National certification: PA-C (NCCPA) or FNP-BC (ANCC) or FNP-C (AANP)
  • Active DEA registration (or ability to obtain prior to start)
  • BLS certification
  • Ability to meet Florida prescribing requirements, including controlled substance authority (if applicable)
  • Must be eligible for credentialing with payers in Florida.
  • Must pass Level 2 background screening (fingerprinting) as required for healthcare workers in Florida.
  • Background checks and credentialing are required for this role.

Nice To Haves

  • ACLS preferred
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in Primary Care, Family Medicine, or Pediatrics preferred
  • Experience in value-based care or high-volume outpatient settings
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred

Responsibilities

  • Examine patients, gather health histories, and evaluate their condition to make informed diagnoses and treatment decisions.
  • Work within a collaborative practice framework to deliver comprehensive treatment plans.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests (X-rays, EKGs, lab work).
  • Counsel patients on preventative care, chronic disease management, family planning, and wellness.
  • Perform procedures: Injections, suturing, wound care, immunizations, and other in-office procedures.
  • Partner with clinical staff to ensure efficient, high-quality care delivery.
