About The Position
The Adult Justice Services Intake Specialist provides services in the areas of rehabilitation of adult offenders and protection of the public through clinical and case management activities in the areas of adult intake, probation, and parole. This position provides administrative duties related to the probation of adult justice services. Detention Operations.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree in business, criminal justice, criminology, sociology, psychology, human services, social work, related field or equivalent combination of education and experience in lieu of degree.
- One (1) year of experience in a related field.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Assessment & planning skills
- Strong verbal & Written communication
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Problem-solving & analytical mindset
- Ability to create strong working relationships
- Must possess a valid driver's license with a driving history verified through a motor vehicle report that meets requirements for Cherokee Nation underwriting rating.
- The employee must not be and will not be under sanction by the United States Department of Health and Human Services Office of the Inspector General (OIG) or by the General Services Administration (GSA) or listed on the OIG's Cumulative Sanction Report, or the GSA's List of Excluded Providers, or listed on the OIG's List of Excluded Individuals/Entities (LEIE).
