About The Position

GoodLife Innovations is seeking Day Services Coordinators to lead our Day Services programs for adults with disabilities. This role involves supporting, training, and mentoring individuals with disabilities, making a meaningful difference in their lives. The Day Services Coordinator will promote high-quality outcomes for persons served and manage Day Service operations, including developing activity schedules, communicating with parents/guardians, and training and supporting staff. Additionally, the role supports the development and operation of client-supported employment and community service/volunteer activities. A great candidate will have experience in this field and a compassionate outlook.

Requirements

Must successfully pass criminal background check
Must be a safe driver and have a valid driver's license
Must be able to physically support clients with and without adaptive equipment
Ability to work well independently and as part of a team

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree in a social services or related field preferred
One to two years of prior experience of a similar scope
Flexibility in assigned working hours and location

Responsibilities

Creating high-quality activity schedules and calendars in accordance with participants’ skill plans
Supervising Day Services staff, including scheduling, giving feedback, and providing ongoing training and support
Coordinating caseloads and attending support plan meetings for caseload
Communicating with parents/guardians and sending monthly newsletters, activity calendars, and event flyers highlighting program activities
Ensuring accurate documentation, data collection, and medication administration
Purchasing materials needed for activities and ensuring program is fully stocked
Supporting the development and operation of client-supported employment and community service/volunteer activities
