About The Position

This specific opportunity is for a 69-year-old female client who is quadriplegic and requires trach care. The client's home is described as a warm, clean, and joyful environment. Centria Healthcare emphasizes a supportive work environment with "Double 24/7" support, meaning a Nurse and a Home Health Aide work concurrently on every shift to assist with transfers, ADLs, and safety. The client's family is also highly involved and supportive of the care team.
Requirements
- Must hold a valid Michigan RN or LPN license.
Nice To Haves
- A positive attitude and a love for gospel music or a good action flick is a huge plus!
Responsibilities
- Tracheostomy Care: Frequent suctioning and scheduled trach changes.
- Respiratory Support: Utilization of a cough assist machine.
- ADLs & Safety: Assisting with basic daily living activities and maintaining strict fall prevention protocols.
- Supervision: Providing consistent monitoring in a clean, pet-free home.
