The Adult-Gerontology Acute Care (AGAC) Nurse Practitioner Program faculty member provides gerontological acute care specialty expertise, teaching, and mentorship in the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) College of Nursing Department of Graduate Studies and Faculty Affairs. They will work closely with other faculty members in the AGAC specialty, as well as collaboratively across programs in the College of Nursing to deliver high quality graduate education to graduate nursing students. This person will report directly to the chair of the Department for faculty related development and evaluation and will collaborate closely with the DNP/Master’s Executive Director, Programs Director, and associate dean for academic affairs to achieve programmatic outcomes and objectives. This person will be located on the Little Rock campus. Their primary mission will be teaching/mentoring, and they will also contribute to the research/scholarship and service/practice missions of the College of Nursing. This is a full-time, 12-month faculty appointment (Tenure track or non-tenure track)
