About The Position
BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide rewarding care to adult and geriatric clients in their homes. This role involves working in your neighborhood to provide personal care, household support, and companion care services, following a written plan of care by a registered nurse. The goal is to help clients stay safe and independent at home. Requirements
- Have at least one year of work experience
- Active CNA license registered with North Carolina in good standing
- Compliant with Bayada policy needed for home care
Responsibilities
- Following a written plan of care by a registered nurse
- Providing personal care, including bathing, grooming, toileting, nail care, etc.
- Providing household support, including light housekeeping, laundry, bed making etc.
- Meal preparation and feeding
- Performing range of motion/exercises
- Assisting with ambulation (Transfers/use of mechanical lifting devices)
- Providing medication reminders
