About The Position

Greenlife Healthcare Staffing is seeking an Adult/Family Nurse Practitioner for a part-time position with a multi-specialty practice in the Bronx, New York. This role involves providing comprehensive primary care services to a diverse patient population in a collaborative outpatient setting. Requirements

• Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
• Active New York State Nurse Practitioner license.
• Must be Board Certified.
• Must be bilingual in Bengali or have relevant experience supporting Bengali-speaking or comparable communities.
• Proficient in performing physical examinations, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, prescribing medications, and utilizing electronic health records.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong clinical judgment.
• Empathy.
• Patient-centered focus.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Nice To Haves

• 1 year of experience (but still open to new grads).

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive physical examinations and patient observations.
• Record and analyze patients' medical histories and symptoms.
• Develop and implement individualized patient care plans, and contribute to existing ones.
• Order, administer, and analyze diagnostic tests and laboratory results.
• Diagnose acute and chronic health issues and prescribe appropriate treatments and medications.
• Monitor and operate medical equipment as needed.
• Detect changes in patients' health and modify treatment plans accordingly.
• Consult with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals within the multi-specialty practice.
• Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, treatment options, medication adherence, and lifestyle modifications.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and thorough documentation in electronic medical records.
