Requirements
- A Valid Driver's License - You'll be transporting residents to activities and outings.
- A positive attitude and a passion for helping others!
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus
Responsibilities
- Help residents develop skills in independent living, personal care, and community integration.
- Teach essential life skills such as cooking, socializing, and problem-solving, all while fostering a fun and supportive atmosphere.
- Go on exciting community outings, cook meals together, and make sure everyone is engaged and having a good time!
- Support residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, grooming, and meal assistance.
- Apply the techniques you learn in training to manage challenging behaviors with patience and empathy.
