Adult Emergency Medicine APN/PA
About The Position
Saint Peter's University Hospital is seeking a full-time Emergency Medicine Advanced Practice Nurse or Physician Assistant to join its Adult Emergency Departments. Saint Peter's is bringing the Emergency Medicine service line fully in-house and actively expanding the Adult and Pediatric Emergency Departments. We are recruiting multiple providers to build a larger, high-quality, hospital-employed emergency medicine group. Saint Peter's is a major academic and community-based medical center providing comprehensive emergency and specialty services. It is centrally located with easy access to New York City and Philadelphia.
Requirements
- Nurse Practitioners: National board certification as Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP) or Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) through ANCC or AANP required.
- Nurse Practitioners: Current Advance Practice Nursing licensure in the State of New Jersey.
- Nurse Practitioners: Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of New Jersey.
- Nurse Practitioners: Current CDS and DEA required.
- Nurse Practitioners: Master's or Doctoral degree in nursing required.
- Nurse Practitioners: Two (2) years emergency medicine or acute care experience.
- Nurse Practitioners: BLS, ACLS, PALS certification required (American Heart Association).
- Physician Assistants: National board certification by NCCPA required.
- Physician Assistants: Current PA license in New Jersey.
- Physician Assistants: Current CDS and DEA required.
- Physician Assistants: BLS, ACLS, PALS certification required (American Heart Association).
- Physician Assistants: Must qualify for Saint Peter's University Hospital Liability insurance.
- Physician Assistants: Two (2) years of emergency medicine experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide care in the Adult Emergency Department.
- Manage a high-acuity, diverse case mix.
- Collaborate in a multidisciplinary care environment.
