About The Position
Finger Lakes Community College (FLCC) is seeking qualified and motivated faculty to teach Adult Education in the Finger Lakes area, including Ontario, Seneca, Wayne, and Yates counties. The part-time position involves teaching GED and/or ESL, or providing case management to GED and/or ESL students. FLCC is committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion and encourages applications from historically under-represented groups.
Requirements
- A master's degree in the academic discipline or a related field is required.
- Teaching or professional experience is highly desirable.
- A bachelor's degree and three years of experience in the subject field may be accepted as an exception in certain specialized fields, subject to approval by the Associate Provost.

- Plan lessons.
- Deliver instruction that meets the individual needs of each learner.
- Complete 14 hours of professional development annually.
- Collaborate with case managers and other colleagues.
