The Adult Day Care CNA - PRN. This role is PRN during the week (no weekends). This role will provide assistance with participants activities of daily living including but not limited to, toileting assistance, feeding assistance, showering/dressing, one person transfers, and general hygiene. The role also establishes program goals, objectives, and priorities to ensure an entertaining, intellectual, spiritual, physical and sensory stimulating environment to enhance and increase the level of functioning of residents. It involves evaluating program activities regularly to ensure compliance with all state and federal laws, rules and regulations, and coordinating with all other units and/or departments to integrate program activities. The CNA will regularly assess needs and recommend program changes and/or development, and assist in programming a weekly activity calendar that includes opportunities for participation in a variety of activities. The role requires the ability to implement and carry out a variety of activities that include baking, arts and crafts, gardening, mentally oriented discussion, sensory activities and more. The CNA will assist participants with activities of daily living including but not limited to, toileting assistance, feeding assistance, one person transfers, and general hygiene. Communication with the Healthcare Coordinator and Program Director regarding any changes in participant functions and ability level is essential. The role also includes attending professional conferences and continuing education programs, and completing all in-service training and assignments as offered in a timely manner.
