About The Position
Adult Basic Education Teacher Part Time - 133 days, 4.75 hrs per day [4pm - 8:45pm]. Duties: Provide direct instruction in-person to adults learning English as a Second Language in level 2A. Responsibilities include lesson planning and instruction, conducting ongoing assessments, monitoring student attendance, attending staff meetings, collaborating with other staff, keeping student records, and supporting volunteers. Implement the CCRS/ACES/NorthStar standards. Other duties as assigned. This position is funded through a multi-year grant, IELCE.
Requirements
- Any K12 or ABE license, or MA TESOL, Applied Linguistics, or Bilingual Education
