About The Position
Stillwater Area Public Schools is seeking an Adult Basic Education (ABE) Teacher. This role involves planning and delivering instruction to adult learners aiming to enhance their English language, reading, writing, or math skills. The goal is to prepare them for the GED test, employment, or post-secondary education. The teacher will also be responsible for assessing student progress to inform instruction, creating individual learning plans, and developing appropriate curriculum for adult students with diverse abilities. This is a one-year-only position.
Requirements
- A current Minnesota teaching license is required.
- Ability to relate well to adults from a variety of cultural backgrounds.
- Ability to relate well to adults with varying skill levels in reading, writing, and math.

Benefits
- As per the SCEA Master Contract, $37.62-$52.25 is the hourly/ salary range.
