About The Position

ADS is seeking a skilled Installer/Technician for our EERCS DAS (Emergency Responder Communication Systems Distributed Antenna System) team. This full-time position involves the installation, programming, and commissioning of DAS systems, ensuring compliance with all relevant codes and standards. The role requires hands-on experience with public safety and cellular DAS, familiarity with various hardware brands, and proficiency with specialized tools. A strong understanding of NFPA and IFC codes is essential.

Requirements

• Active FCC GROL (General Radiotelephone Operator License) required for programming and commissioning.
• Minimum 2–3 years of hands-on experience with public safety DAS or cellular DAS.
• Familiarity with major active/passive BDA brands such as Westell, Comba, Honeywell, and ADRF.
• Proficiency with fiber scopes, cable strip tools, spectrum analyzers, line sweep equipment, and lift machinery.
• Strong understanding of NFPA 72, NFPA 1221, and IFC 510 codes.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Nice To Haves

• Scissor/Boom lift operator certification is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, program, and commission public safety DAS and cellular DAS systems.
• Utilize fiber scopes, cable strip tools, spectrum analyzers, line sweep equipment, and lift machinery.
• Ensure all installations comply with NFPA 72, NFPA 1221, and IFC 510 codes.
