About The Position

As a Supervisor, Adult Day Program (ADP), you will support the daily operations of the Adult Day Program by supervising staff, coordinating services, and ensuring individuals receive person-centered supports that promote independence, inclusion, and personal growth. This role combines leadership, program coordination, and quality assurance to ensure services are consistent, respectful, and aligned with each individual’s goals and service plan.

Ability to supervise, guide, or support others (formally or informally)
Experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities or in related fields such as education, caregiving, behavioral health, or community support
Experience in a supervisory or lead role in human services or community-based programs
Knowledge of community integration or skill-building supports
Experience with documentation, reporting, or compliance processes
Experience with Regional Center services or similar systems
Must pass a post offer pre-employment background check, non-arduous physical, drug/TB screen
Ability to travel locally to meet with clients, partners, or attend events, if applicable.
Ability to work in various environments, including office and community settings.
Ability to perform essential job duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
May require occasional lifting (up to 25 lbs), standing, walking, or assisting individuals with mobility needs, if applicable.

Responsibilities

Train and support Adult Day Program staff
Provide ongoing supervision, coaching, and performance feedback
Conduct performance check-ins and evaluations
Assign schedules and ensure staffing coverage
Review documentation for quality and compliance
Support staff development in person-centered practices
Address performance issues and implement corrective action when needed
Conduct and document workplace investigations related to complaints, incidents, or policy concerns, and escalate as appropriate
Promote a respectful, inclusive team culture and support conflict resolution
Support development and implementation of individualized service plans
Coordinate services aligned with participant goals, preferences, and needs
Support intake, onboarding, and transitions into the program
Advocate for participant rights, choice, and self-determination
Coordinate communication with families, service coordinators, and support teams
Maintain respectful, strengths-based relationships with participants and families
Share relevant information with staff to support safe, effective service delivery
Maintain knowledge of applicable regulations, Regional Center requirements, and vendor standards
Ensure timely and accurate completion of documentation and reporting
Monitor program quality and support continuous improvement
Participate in audits, reviews, and corrective action processes
Ensure services align with individual service plans and regulatory requirements
Other duties as assigned.
