Requirements

  • A valid Texas bar license for a minimum of 2 years.
  • At least 2 years of dedicated Texas Family Law litigation, with a strong focus on adoption procedures.
  • A strong presence in the courtroom and the ability to manage a busy docket with care and composure.
  • Highly organized advocate experienced in drafting adoption petitions, agreements, pleadings, and discovery with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Clio, TxDoc, Google Suite, or similar drafting and client management software.

Nice To Haves

  • 5+ years of dedicated Texas Family Law litigation, with a strong focus on adoption procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Lead impactful adoption and family law cases from initial intake to finalization with the full support of our marketing and administrative teams.
  • Direct private, agency, stepparent, foster care, and international adoption cases under the Texas Family Code.
  • Represent clients in Harris County and surrounding courts with confidence and clarity during termination of parental rights and finalization hearings.
  • Conduct hearings, mediations, and consults using your deep knowledge of Texas adoption laws, regulations, and state agency compliance.
  • Help families navigate their most emotional and rewarding chapters with results-driven, empathetic representation.
