Fraser is seeking a Mental Health Practitioner to provide individual outpatient skills and co-lead our adolescent day treatment program at our Bloomington clinic. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in behavioral sciences AND Bachelor's and 2,000 hours of supervised clinical hours OR Work experience only: 4,000 hours of supervised clinical hours
  • Valid Minnesota Driver’s License with acceptable record
  • Demonstrated respect for sensitivity to family and cultural differences
  • Effective communication in the English language
  • Computer proficiency using Word and Excel with proficiency in keyboarding skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Responsibilities

  • Consistent with regulatory standards and under supervision of licensed mental health professional, participates in clinical services, which may include day treatment skills training, individual and/or group skills training.
  • Perform crisis interventions
  • Communicate in a respectful and professional manner with others involved with cases, including parents, educational staff, county social workers, probation officers, foster parents, etc.
  • Schedule and provide clinical services and documentation in such a way as to meet or exceed budgeted client services hour targets
  • Positively affect change in client’s lives in the areas of problem-solving, decision making, communication, and social skills
