Come join Psychiatric Medical Care's adolescent behavioral health outpatient program, Embrace U. Embrace U is a combined IOP and PHP treating patients ages 10-18. The adolescent care coordinator provides quality administrative and clerical services for program staff and assists Embrace U clients with care needs. They also serve as back up coverage to other Embrace U staff. The adolescent care coordinator’s responsibilities include assisting with the inquiry and intake process, providing clerical support to team members, assisting with discharge planning, working with clients during PHP time, holding psychoeducational client groups, and assisting with client care. The core values of the program are Care, Compliance, and Community. Care involves providing the best possible client care, ensuring client needs are met, completing reports, assisting with admissions, taking vital signs, participating in treatment team meetings, coordinating snacks, completing medical records, managing supplies, monitoring refrigerator logs, monitoring clients during PHP time, performing groups during IOP time, and assisting the NP with intakes and follow-ups. Compliance involves ensuring the program operates within all regulations, performing billing functions, and completing insurance verification and concurrent reviews. Community involves demonstrating an understanding of community education, participating in customer service training, maintaining community education contacts, and participating in a cohesive team environment.
