Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent; additional healthcare-related certifications are a plus
Previous experience in healthcare administration, customer service, or a related field preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism
Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) systems and office software
Ability to remain calm and compassionate in high-pressure situations

Responsibilities

Greet patients and their families upon arrival, providing a warm and professional first impression
Collect and verify patient information, including personal details, insurance information, and medical history
Assist patients with completing necessary admission paperwork and documentation
Coordinate with medical staff and departments to facilitate patient admissions and transfers
Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations
Answer patient inquiries and provide information about hospital services and procedures
Ensure all admission procedures are completed efficiently and in a timely manner
Collaborate with billing and insurance teams to verify coverage and resolve any discrepancies
