Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education diploma (GED) required.
  • 1-2 years of healthcare, behavioral health, insurance, or admissions call center experience.
  • Working knowledge of behavioral health services and levels of care.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle emotional or distressed callers with empathy.
  • Competency in data entry and CRM systems, preferably Salesforce.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • College coursework or Addictions Certification desired.
  • 1-2 years of behavioral healthcare admissions experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Answer inbound and digital inquiries with professionalism and empathy.
  • Collect initial caller information and determine appropriate next steps.
  • Identify callers that meet the admission criteria for the program and help patients identify an appropriate level of care.
  • Facilitate the admission process into the program if the caller meets admission criteria.
  • Maintain accurate records in the CRM system.
  • Provide callers that do not meet the admission criteria alternate treatment options based on their required level of care.
  • Communicate with patients and their families, providing information about the facilities and the policies of the Company.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to schedule admissions.
  • Manage a variety of call types with minimal supervision.
  • Take calls involving mild to moderate complexity.
  • Support onboarding and peer learning informally.
  • Document all interactions and ensure compliance with privacy standards.
