About The Position

Trinity Hospice Dallas is seeking a PRN Admissions RN to join their top-notch team. In 2025, the agency successfully completed a deficiency-free full book survey. The team has experienced significant census growth and is led by approachable and empathetic leaders. This role requires the RN to administer skilled nursing for all ages in their place of residence, conduct patient admissions, and complete assessments to determine hospice service eligibility. The position also involves co-marketing with Business Development Executives/Marketers, assisting with deaths and patient visits as needed, and completing periodic inservices. The RN will coordinate care within a hospice interdisciplinary team, communicate with physicians, and demonstrate accountability, flexibility, respect, and integrity. Compliance with legal requirements, company standards, policies, and procedures, as well as timely submission of paperwork, are essential. This role is paid a stipend as well as pay per visit. The ideal candidate can live anywhere within the Metroplex and will primarily support Saturdays and Sundays, with some weekday work also required. Admissions do not take place after 7 PM.

Requirements

  • Current Registered Nurse license in the state of Texas.
  • At least two (2) years experience as a RN Case Manager in the hospice setting required.
  • Must have a current Texas Driver's license and dependable transportation.
  • Experience as a RN for a hospice agency or program is required for consideration.

Responsibilities

  • Administer skilled nursing for all ages in their place of residence.
  • Conduct patient admissions.
  • Complete assessments to see if patient is the right fit for hospice services.
  • Co-marketing with our Business Development Executives/Marketers.
  • Assist with deaths.
  • Assist with patient visits as needed.
  • Complete periodic inservices.
  • Coordinate care within a hospice interdisciplinary team to assure patient/family needs are met.
  • Communicate with attending physicians, hospice physicians, and other physicians involved in the patient's care.
  • Demonstrate accountability, flexibility, respect, and integrity.
  • Comply with applicable legal requirements, company standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Timely submit all required paperwork.
