Requirements

• Registered Nurse
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Current North Carolina State Registered Nurse License
• Current North Carolina Driver’s License
• Current CPR Certification
• CPI Certification

Nice To Haves

• At least one year of nursing experience in a hospital setting preferred.
• Experience in psychiatric settings strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive nursing report for incoming patients from sending facilities
• Triage walk-in patients who arrive for assessment
• Complete intake assessments
• Contact providers to obtain and enter orders
• Distribute patient medications as ordered
• Provide supervision of patients while awaiting transfer to unit
• Demonstrate professional phone etiquette and develop relationships with clinical staff at sending facilities
