About The Position

We are the first face of Freeman Hospital, a customer service-driven department seeking compassionate and friendly individuals to provide the best service. We are 110 employees strong and work with all areas of the hospital to ensure that patients are in the system correctly to ensure patient safety. Requirements

• Must be available to work between 6:45 am - 7:00 pm
• Rotating weekend and holidays required.

Responsibilities

• Assure that all patient types accessing admission via the admissions and are processed timely and accurately.
• Responsible for hospital's first impression while maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations to include EMTALA when registering patients during the triage and bedside registration process.
• Ensures collectability of patient accounts through admission process securing all information needed for the collection process based on an annual revenue estimated of over $80 million.
