About The Position

Admissions Representative – Healthcare (Hybrid) We’re hiring Admissions Representatives to support infusion patients through the intake and scheduling process for a leading healthcare organization. This role focuses on inbound patient coordination, referrals, and admissions support while building strong relationships with hospitals and care teams.

Requirements

At least 6 months of healthcare administrative experience (front desk, scheduling, insurance verification, referrals, prior authorizations, patient access, etc.)
Strong customer service skills with comfort handling high call volumes
Ability to navigate multiple systems and perform accurate data entry (25–40 WPM)
Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Outlook; familiarity with Excel a plus
High school diploma or GED required
Reliable work history with consistent attendance

Nice To Haves

Experience with EHR/EMR systems (Epic is a plus)
Familiarity with Medicare, Medicaid, or insurance workflows
Call center or healthcare customer service experience

Responsibilities

Handle inbound calls, emails, and faxed referrals to schedule appointments and manage the patient intake process
Coordinate dialysis or infusion placements using internal tools and resources
Place outbound calls to hospitals to complete placement requests and follow up on referrals
Communicate professionally with hospitals, discharge planners, case managers, and patients
Partner with internal teams to ensure a smooth and timely admissions process
Maintain accuracy while meeting performance metrics and quality standards
