About The Position

Admissions Representative – Healthcare (Hybrid) We’re hiring Admissions Representatives to support infusion patients through the intake and scheduling process for a leading healthcare organization. This role focuses on inbound patient coordination, referrals, and admissions support while building strong relationships with hospitals and care teams.

Requirements

  • At least 6 months of healthcare administrative experience (front desk, scheduling, insurance verification, referrals, prior authorizations, patient access, etc.)
  • Strong customer service skills with comfort handling high call volumes
  • Ability to navigate multiple systems and perform accurate data entry (25–40 WPM)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Outlook; familiarity with Excel a plus
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Reliable work history with consistent attendance

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with EHR/EMR systems (Epic is a plus)
  • Familiarity with Medicare, Medicaid, or insurance workflows
  • Call center or healthcare customer service experience

Responsibilities

  • Handle inbound calls, emails, and faxed referrals to schedule appointments and manage the patient intake process
  • Coordinate dialysis or infusion placements using internal tools and resources
  • Place outbound calls to hospitals to complete placement requests and follow up on referrals
  • Communicate professionally with hospitals, discharge planners, case managers, and patients
  • Partner with internal teams to ensure a smooth and timely admissions process
  • Maintain accuracy while meeting performance metrics and quality standards
